Pastoral Care
At Anchor, we want every person to know they're not walking alone. Our Pastoral Care ministry exists to surround you with prayer, encouragement, community, and biblical support through every season of life. Below are the ways we'd love to come alongside you.
Areas of Care

We were never intended to journey through this life in isolation. Our Creator fashioned us for deep connection—both with Himself and with those around us. Anchor Life Groups are the primary way we live out this calling. These small communities gather to share meals, dive into the Word, lift one another in prayer, and navigate the everyday realities of life together.
Regardless of your current season, there is a community waiting for you. We have a diverse range of groups designed to help you find others walking a similar path:
Men’s and Women’s Groups — Pursue spiritual growth with peers through transparent conversation and mutual support.
Marriage and Couples Groups — Strengthen your relationship within a community of couples dedicated to Christ-centered marriages.
Young Adults — Process major life decisions and build lasting friendships with others in this formative season.
Equip Courses — These courses are designed to help you build a firm scriptural foundation, cultivate leadership, and gain the necessary tools to walk out your faith with boldness.
Support and Recovery Groups — Find hope and healing alongside those ready to help restore and encourage you.
These groups are the heartbeat of our pastoral care. Within these circles, you are surrounded by a community to support you when you are weary, celebrate your breakthroughs, and provide tangible support when trials arise. It is a beautiful way to experience God’s love and extend that same grace to others.
We are eager to help you find your place in our community.

Prayer is our first response, not our last resort. We desire to see every person at Anchor develop an intimate relationship with God through a personal prayer life. We grow in prayer through groups, classes, and praying together during weekend services. Prayer invites the power and presence of God into our lives to accomplish His plans and purposes.
To submit a prayer request, fill out the Prayer Request Form and send your message. Our team would love the opportunity to pray over your request. We are available every weekend after each service for in-person prayer and ministry.

We want to walk with you through the most significant moments of life.
Funeral Care
If a loved one has recently passed away, we are so sorry for your loss. Psalm 34:18 reminds us that the Lord is close to the brokenhearted. We want to be available to support you during this season through funeral care. Our care team is here to connect with your family, offer comfort, pray, and help determine any needs (such as an officiant for the funeral service). We can also connect you with grief support resources that suit you best.
To get in contact with us regarding any of these options, please fill out our Event Request Form, and someone from the care team will respond to your request.
Hospital Visitation
If you or a loved one is struggling with sickness or disease and would like a pastor or volunteer to visit the hospital, please contact us through our Hospital Visitation Form. We don't want anyone in our church family walking through their health journey alone, and we would be happy to offer our care and support.
-
Pre-Marital
This is an exciting time of life filled with joy, big decisions, and discoveries.
We offer a pre-marital course to equip Anchor couples for a healthy biblical marriage.
After the course, we offer a one-on-one meeting with members of our pastoral care team to bless and encourage you for this next season of life. If you are interested in this course, please make sure both parties fill out the Care Request Form.
Please note that this pre-marital course is reserved for people who have completed Anchor Discover. If you have not done so, we would encourage you to, as this is the place to get involved and hear the vision of the church.
Weddings
If you would like one of our pastors to officiate your wedding, please fill out the Event Request Form.

We desire to see every Anchor member grow in an intimate relationship with God. When you're facing personal, relational, spiritual, or emotional challenges, our care team is here to offer prayer, encouragement, and biblical support. This one-on-one care happens in a variety of ways, including prayer, scriptural encouragement, and walking with you through difficult seasons.
We believe deeply in caring for the whole person. For challenges that call for clinical or licensed counseling, we'll help connect you with trusted, professional counselors in our community so you can receive the specialized care you need. Our role is to encourage you, point you to God's Word, and make sure you're supported every step of the way.
To find out more or request care, please fill out a Care Request Form.

If you are in need of financial support, we may be able to help. As a church, we believe in generosity and stewardship, and we want to walk alongside our members in times of financial hardship. The church is a place where people can find support and opportunities to learn about their role as stewards of what God has entrusted to them.
To request financial assistance, please fill out our Financial Assistance Form.
